Home Inspections and Appraisals do share some similarities, however, appraisals are a determination of value and home inspections are determinations of the homes overall condition and the condition of indivdual systems and components that play vital roles in the house.
Of course! The more the merrier. We encourage our clients to attend. This allows us the ability to discuss parts of the house in more detail. However, keep in mind that there are certain portions of the inspection process that we do not allow the client to accompany us. For example, when we enter the crawlspace or inspect electrical panels. We will discuss with you in detail about what we find once we are finished inspecting the subsequent components/ systems. We also require a signed waiver and that your realtor/ broker accompany you. With that being said, we’d love for you to join us.
As long as our schedule will allow it, yes we will.
We work with other inspectors and third party companies to provide most additional services to you. We want additional services needed to be performed at or near the same time as the residential inspection.
